La Pizza Cresci, Cannes

With the Vieux Port as the backdrop!

Fascinated by the magic of cinema and a lover of celebration, Francis Cresci opened his iconic establishment in Cannes’ Vieux Port in 1960. A major player in the town, this colourful restaurant still has the warm and friendly atmosphere it had on opening.
Whether you're sat in the dining rooms decorated with photos of stars or on the terrace facing the port, you’ll always be able to enjoy a wealth of gourmet delights. The famous wood-fired oven helps to create a lively pizza with a unique taste, both crisp and soft with lashings of toppings, including cheese carefully selected from independent producers, as well as a divine apple tart to end the meal on a high.
La Pizza Cresci also offers a large selection of pasta dishes, lasagnes, salads, meat dishes, fish dishes and mussels, as well as artisan ice cream and homemade desserts.

Once upon a time in Cannes

A snapshot of a family’s wonderful story

A pioneer in developing the concept of the pizzeria in France, Francis Cresci opened La Pizza Cresci in Cannes in 1960, the sister restaurant to the restaurant on Rue Masséna in Nice, first opened in 1956.

What a lovely surprise to find an old-time place like this. From the moment we first stood in the restaurant, we were transported back in time. There was a lively and eclectic atmosphere, and a varied menu. The pizzas are done in a wood-fired oven in halves, but don’t worry, you will have enough as they are very generous. The desserts are also copious. A moment of joy worth sharing.

Excellent pizzas!

The service is well organised.

Very good value for money with a great view over Cannes’ port.

Quite simply delicious.

It’s simple. We’ve been returning here every year since we left the Côte d’Azur, and every year it’s been a treat. Sizeable pizzas, well presented. The waiters are super nice despite the amount of work they have to do. In Cannes, there’s La Croisette and La Pizza Cresci!

Extraordinary. THE place to eat a pizza, whether you're 2 people or 20 people, delicious and superb setting.
Thank you!

The dishes are always copious!
I have been here on multiple occasions and have always had a great welcome and great service! Recommended.

Despite the high number of guests, the service was quick. The pizzas were delicious, their half-moon shape being just right for leaving room for dessert. A must-visit restaurant in Cannes, I wholeheartedly recommend it.

It’s been perfect since I was 10, and I’m now 61.

Exceptional!
A legendary restaurant, an excellent atmosphere from the moment we arrived. A warm welcome, efficient service, a nice menu, generous portions. Everything is delicious. We’ve come here as a couple, with family and with friends, and each time everything was perfect.

This is a restaurant with a strong reputation and deservedly so. The cuisine, mostly Mediterranean, is exquisite, savoury and deliciously seasoned. Here you’ll find all the flavours of our friend the Mediterranean. La Pizza Cresci is a must-visit place in Cannes where you need to go at least once to share in the secrets of successful cuisine.
